Creamy Italian Dressing ~ you might have thought that you couldn’t have it and stay sanctioned, right? Well, you can! It’s one of my all time favorites, reminds me of all the flavors that I grew up with and would be so sad if I couldn’t enjoy in my healthy lifestyle. So, I came up with this version to satisfy my culinary desires.
- 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
- 2T Mayonnaise
- 2T White Wine Vinegar
- ½t Dry Mustard
- ½t Dry Basil
- ½ Dried Oregano
- ¼ t Salt
- 1 Garlic Clove (minced)
- ¼ Cup EVOO
- Juice of a lemon
- Everything other than the EVOO in the blender
- Blend on high
- Slowly drizzle in EVOO to emulsify
- Taste and adjust seasoning
it’s yummy Debbie ~ play with the ingredients to suit your taste, but the basics bring you a delicious, tangy Italian dressing!
