I love this quote — because ti’s so true! I have found that it’s easy to get caught up in doing all the stuff that’s right in front of me and not really making the time for the things that I want It’s safe.
And, striving for goals involves risk, stepping outside the box, scheduling my priorities…. not prioritizing my schedule….. definitely worth taking a look at the semantics here………………. I have to prioritize my goals, to ensure that I achieve them. Scheduling my workouts, my meals, my computer time, my water intake, my cooking — it’s work to take care of myself, and I’m worth it! Who said that, Loreal?
Since I work in an environment that changes every day it help to have at least my food ready for the week.
In reference to exercise, I make time for it where I can even if it means doing it later at night, but still making it a priority to accomplish before the day is done.
Having exercise on my schedule is the ONLY way I get it done. I can exercise first thing in the day, but if I need to be at work, or somewhere else, then I must have it on my schedule, because it isn’t natural for me to take a break in the day to walk, bike or swim. But I need to. Same with healthy cooking, Sunday is usually the day to shop and cook for the week.
