Self-confidence is an essential aspect of your Living Fit Lifestyle ~ self-confidence is important in all aspect of our lives. Confident people inspire confidence in others: their friends, their family, their bosses and their customers. Gaining the confidence of others is one of the key manners in which a self-confident individual finds success in their life.

 


Self-confidence can be learned and built on with practice

and it’s well worth the effort. 


 

Self-confidence is about BALANCE. At one extreme, we have people with lower self-confidence that generally will avoid taking risks and stretching because they are too afraid and focused not the ‘what if’s’. At the other end of the spectrum, we have people who may be over-confident, they may take on too much risk, stretching too far beyond their capabilities, and crash badly. Finding the balance is a matter of having the right amount of confidence, founded in reality and based on an accurate assessment of your true ability. With the right amount of self-confidence, you will take informed risks, stretch yourself to learn and grow (but not beyond your abilities) and try hard to reach your Living Fit Lifestyle goals.

 

If you want to live the life of your dreams, developing a healthy sense of self-confidence is going to give you a growing edge toward your SMART GOALS. The great thing about living the life of your dreams is that YOU get to choose! You are the designer of your life, you choose how you want to live, where you want to go, what you want to learn and how you want to contribute to your community.

Having a Hot 100 ~ bucket list is a great exercise for creating the life of your dreams. This list reminds us that there are things we want to do, we have goals and dreams that serve to inspire our personal growth and sense of adventure. When we complete one goal we can celebrate our success and then refer to the list and choose another. When you work on achieving your SMART GOALS you are developing your self-confidence and building competence that you take with you everywhere. Your confidence becomes a real, solid achievement and no-one can take that away from you ~ self-confidence is sexy and liberating!
