Your Challenge Today:
Do so with all your heart …
Accept the things to which fate binds you,
and love the people with whom fate brings you together,
but do so with all your heart.
Do all things with love and do so with all your heart! This speaks to my passion, my desire to do my best, my desire to give my best to whatever I am doing. When I am working with a client doing training or massage, I have to take into consideration everything I know about the client and do my work with all my heart. I have to think of the clients needs, their goals and their limitations ~ I have to approach the job with their best interest at heart and do my best for them. When I am cooking for a client, family or friends, I have to think of what’s best for everyone involved. What can I do for them that they will enjoy and be good for them, what can I do with all my heart?
I like to approach everything I do with the same passion and desire to do my best, to be proud to sign my name to the finished product. Every project that I take on ~ I do so with all my heart. Once the decision has been made and the commitment is in, I am on a mission to do my best, give it my all, doing it with all my heart. For me it seems natural and sometimes I win and sometimes I fall short of my goals ~ either way, I go into the project with all my heart.
And, then there are times when you need to have a heart-to-heart conversation with someone that you love. These conversations are usually awkward, challenging, difficult and sometimes painful. These heart felt conversations are used to resolve conflicts that are inevitable in loving relationships over time. The foundation of a true heart-to-heart is a talk where both parties approach the conversation with love and respect. Both parties agree to speak and listen in a non-defensive manner. It is vitally important that both parties keep an open heart and mind, keeping their reactions in check. Each person needs to feel heard which will ensure that each party will feel closer as a result of the heart-to-heart.
