Your Daily Challenge:
Identify the ONE BIG obstacle staring you in the face and how you can work around it!
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
Obstacles don’t have to stop you.
If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up.
Figure out how to climb it, go through it, work around it.

Identify a belief system that you have that is not truly working in your favor, it might be keeping you attached to a habit you want to change for a healthier choice.
Might be something like:
“everything that tastes good, isn’t good for you”
‘I can’t live without my soda”
‘Its too hard to go out with my friends and make healthy food choices”
“I can’t get it all in, it’s too hard to take care of myself”

my biggest obstacle is stress. it is everywhere around me. then again, why should i think i’m so different? i have a good life. my family does love me. i want for nothing. sure, we have our share of (fill in the blanks). i CAN walk through it by taking inventory, taking a deep breath and relaxing. calm down and carry on. actually, i am my own biggest obstacle. i love this game because it helps me clarify issues on a daily basis.
thank you Bernadette. over and over again.

I find myself thinking that I will exercise when I have the energy, or it was a long day at work so I can exercise tomorrow.
The challenge is that is the end of the day, I am likely to have less energy than at the beginning and work is more often than not a long day. So these roadblocks will always be present.
I need to work on reframing them so that remind me of the value; if I go to the gym or pool tonight that will help me have more energy and my days will be easier and feel shorter as a result.
