The concept of going the extra mile is something that we all think of when we engage in a service for hire. Whether it is a dinner out or a shopping spree for a friend ~ we notice and appreciate the sales person or server that “goes the extra mile”. It feels good to receive that little extra something, something ~ it is a boost to your morale, confidence and day.
I challenge you today ~ to give that little extra something to yourself! Think about your game plan here, where are you kinda sliding by because you are so busy at work or have a full social calendar and it’s a real challenge to balance you with your commitments. That’s the place where you need to pick up the pace and go the extra mile, for yourself ~ because you deserve it!
YOU are your most valuable asset and YOU need to make yourself a priority!

Not compromising on my professional fee any more has allowed me to be grateful for every minute I spend at work. Allowing myself to know what I know and act, kindly, on that is another way I put myself first. Making myself go shopping today to have more meals at home this week is today’s action plan!
