The Objectives of this game are simple:

The Living Fit Game is intended to give you a motivational boost and support to reach your wellness goals! It does not serve as a weight-loss or fitness program. We aim to make it fun for you to lose weight by engaging in a game of social-wellness with your friends and family. And, since we don’t know you personally (and even if we did) we can’t advise you properly on how to lose weight. The objective of the game is to support you in your quest to improve your overall health and wellness by making sensible, sustainable lifestyle changes on a daily basis.

Quick weight loss methods aren’t sufficient to achieve lasting results. Weight loss methods that rely on diet aids like drinks, prepackaged foods, or diet pills don’t work in the long run. Although the Living Fit Game may be a catalyst for changing your habits, the most important changes are long term. No matter how much (or little) weight you have to lose, modest goals and a slow course will increase your chances of both losing the weight and keeping it off. Don’t do dumb things to lose weight!

This is a game of Social Wellness:

Note that we may recommend certain approaches and products from time to time on our site and in our emails but you should consult a professional before acting on our advice. Everything that we suggest is optional. Each individual must assess the best choices for themselves. Certain exercises are better for some and not appropriate for others ~ as are food choices. Make your personal decisions wisely and you will ultimately benefit from leading a clean, living fit lifestyle!

Coconut Chocolate Ice Cream

How much do you love ice cream, chocolate ice cream but cannot eat dairy? I do, I love chocolate and ice cream ... and it is probably better for me to not have dairy. Coconut milk is a great alternative to dairy, it's rich, creamy and velvety when made into an ice cream!

Chipotle Burger

This is great to eat with a bowl of soup or on a whole grain bun with arugula and chipotle mayo!

Light Lasagna

I like to make individual lasagnas in mini bread pans and use only one noodle per lasagna, which is 1/3 of a ‘normal’ serving. I supercharge my lasagna by adding lots of vegetables and herbs to give it additional flavor and a nutritional boost from the added vegetables!

Sausage Mushroom Ricotta Sauce

What I love about meatloaf is you can use any kind of meat you like or even make it a veggie loaf if you don't eat meat.... the concept is the same. It's incredibly easy, gather your ingredients, mix them in a large bowl, put them together in a loaf pan and bake. In an hour, you have a very healthy, comforting dinner ready for a family.

Chicken Bolognese

An Italian staple -- Bolognese Sauce.  My mom grew up in New Orleans with an Italian mother (my grandmother) she was exposed to classic Italian cooking and the creole cuisine from New Orleans. Then we moved to Texas when I was a child which added another element to the mix -- Tex Mex.  So, you might imagine, nothing that I cook is very 'traditional' in the classic sense. I tend to mix up an old favorite with the flavors that I remember blended in, and this is just that -- my version of Bolognese.

Asian Chicken Sliders

A yummy dish of Asian flavored chicken sliders & a tangy lime sauce. Serve with a brown rice vegetable pilaf & delicious bok choy.

Gluten Free Granola

Granola is one of those recipes that can be adapted according to your personal taste preferences or even dictated by what you have in the pantry.

Crispy Oven Chicken

Pastured 'free-range' chicken is the healthiest to eat. Those animals that have been allowed to live the life they are meant to, by moving around instead of living in a cage, will provide you the best nutrition for your body.

Classic Tomato Sauce

Classic Tomato Sauce is one of the "mother" sauces because once you master it ~ you can use it to make many creative and delicious dishes.
