Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,

while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Loving deeply … is an important part of life. Loving is essential for our body, mind and spirit. Loving deeply has been proven to keep us physically and mentally healthy while also prolonging our life by feeding our spirit. There have been many studies on the benefits of friendship, love and sex; we can all prosper from our friendships as well as our loves. Research has shown that we don’t need to be in a traditional romantic relationship to realize the benefits of love. We can add much value to our well-being by maintaining friendships over our lifetime.

Loving deeply can give us courage and being loved deeply gives us strength. When we feel loved and supported we somehow take on the ability to do more and have more confidence, we feel much more powerful knowing that we have the confidence of our loved ones behind us. And, the research shows that it doesn’t matter if it’s our friends that are cheering us on or our lovers, just knowing that we are loved has many perks. Having the emotional support of others is a valuable asset to our lives and cultivating friendships takes time and effort, like anything worth having. The love and support of friends and family requires an investment that will ultimately be an asset to your life ~ we glean much value from having a diversified life with many friends and a strong support system.

Loving support from friends and family helps fight off heart disease and emotional stress ailments. Sex is also proven to be good for our hearts, is a great stress buster and helps to fight off illness. However, physical contact in the form of hugs has many health benefits as well. We have much to gain from keeping loving relationships in our lives in the many different forms love can take. Keeping tight with your gal pals, man friends and community is an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to developing a Living Fit Lifestyle.
