i am amazed how the daily inspiration seems to frequently be on the same page as my thoughts. Bernadette must be a psychic in addition to all of her many gifts and talents.

The game has helped me make a plan that I can use the rest of my life to attain my goal of being the most healthy I can be for the rest of my life.
I have been playing this game for over a year now!!! And, without a doubt, the 3 meals off per week help tremendously. Also, knowing that I don’t have to be perfect with my food every single day helps. Some days (even beyond the 3 meals off) I score a 30 or 40 on food. And I still am in the game! So moderation would be the #1 thing that has given me staying power. Also the mindfulness peice; planning food, rest, water, exercise, communication, fun, etc has been invaluable.
I believe keeping your goals visible is the key to staying on the path. That is what the well crafted Daily Score Card, does for me. It takes a while for the rules of the game to become integrated into every day practice. Creating a goal is one thing, but following through requires that I keep score both literally and figuratively.
Keeping my scorecard daily definitely keeps me in the present. I can write my gratitudes on the backside, write what is working and what isn’t. Reading the daily inspirations are wonderful… thanks again Bernadette!
The most necessary thing for me to reach my goals is PLANNING. thinking about the points of the game has enabled me to plan the week ahead and choose when I will indulge and when I will have will power. It makes BOTH seem more enjoyable.
