Have you ever wished you could just pop yourself into a new situation and everything would be different, better? Wouldn’t that be nice, the ability to just pick ourselves up and move to a new place, entirely new situation and have a fantastic new life, new home, new job, friends, body, and experiences?
Sounds good to me, new beginnings and maybe even new identity ~ I have probably had that thought. I have wanted to pick myself up and move, hoping for a new reality. Sure, somethings will change, the surroundings, people, experiences ~ but, I will still be there. I will always have my past, my demons, my challenges to face. What’s inside me is not going to change just because I have physically moved. If I am having a problem with my Living Fit Lifestyle, I will still be facing myself when I look in the mirror. If I don’t like exercise or eating vegetables ~ chances are I still don’t want those things even when I relocate.
Whatever my demons are, whatever my dreams are they will still be with me because they are a part of me. Running away from myself is rarely a successful option in life. Stand up, look in the mirror and face yourself! Be true to you, be bold, be brave and confront the issues that are challenging you and your success.
It has been said Wherever You Go, There You Are ~ which is a best selling book in Mindfulness Mediation by Jon Kabat-Zin ~ he recommends that we pay attention to the moment rather than the past, the future, or the multitudinous distractions of modern life. Be in the moment with yourself, all of you and listen.

today is simple and straight forward. stay at home, eat healthy foods and get plenty of rest. i want to get over my cold so i can get back to my daily routine. realizing when to take it easy is important to my overall healthy goals.
