Your Challenge Today:
A great deal of bravery …
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies,
but just as much to stand up to our friends.
~ J. K. Rowling
A great deal of bravery and the courage to press on toward your destination … that’s a tall order, what do you think?
Bravery is — being scared to death and doing it anyway! Bravery is not the absence of fear, but triumph over it … the courage to press on. The truth is having a plan of action provides some sense of confidence in the face of fear and taking the time to create your roadmap as an extension of your idea is the best medicine you can offer to combat the fear – information is power! When you take the time to research, troubleshoot and prepare for the upcoming event that might be causing you stress ~ you are using your intellect as a powerful tool.
And, having the courage to stand up to your enemies and friends at any time that you might need demonstrates your commitment to you, your health and your personal development. Be kind, gentle and honest ~ say what you need to and take responsibility for yourself ~ you are your own best friend and advocate!
It’s your journey,
~ follow your path and stay true to your needs ~
you are worth it!

I’ve been working on simply saying what I want/need from others, and it is a work in progress. I have a lot of good support with this, including today’s post! Yes, sometimes it takes research, practice, role reversal, but once the dialouge happens, its always much better, regardless of the resolution, because I have honored myself. This is so much better than having things come out sideways!
