Your Challenge Today:
Be Brave!

Be brave … Take risks …
Nothing can substitute experience.
~ Paulo Coelho
To be brave is to show courage and not fear.
It does not mean you do not have fear, it does mean that you are willing to face it head on. Courage is the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation.
It takes courage to embark on a new goal, a new path, to take an uncertain route in life. It takes courage to put yourself on the line with something new, interesting or different and risk failing or embarrassing yourself. It takes courage to declare a goal that you are truly stretching for and uncertain about.
A goal is a desired result a person envisions, plans and commits to achieving with a desired end-point in mind. Many people endeavor to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines, utilizing the SMART GOAL system to provide the best framework for achievement.
Whether it is a promotion at work, a change in career, aspirations for a higher education, running a marathon or 1/2, or climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, whatever your goal is ~ give yourself credit for being brave and taking a risk ~ state your goal utilizing the SMART GOAL system and go for it!

Broaden my social connections. Started online dating… we will see. My specific goal is to have more people (or a person) to spend fun, social time. Measurable; I’d like to have 2 dates per month. Attainable; have to be in the game to make it happen. Realistic, that’s why I said 2 dates per month, I think that’s realistic, but if it doesn’t happen that’s ok too. Timely; now is a good time, practice slowed down, I have more time to invest in meeting people. I am being very honest with myself this time around and not going to keep dating with someone just because I am lonely or because they are nice, if I have any red flags. All of these goals make this approach responsible.
