Your Challenge Today:
Live this day …
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal.
Live this day as if it were your last.
The past is over and gone.
The future is not guaranteed.
Wayne Dyer
What if today were your last, what would you do differently?
It’s a morbid thought, I know, and not to be a downer ~ but seriously, what would you do differently? What would you want the last words you said to your spouse to be? If you left the house in an unhappy frame of mind, annoyed with your significant other ~ is that what you would want them to remember? What about your parents or children ~ what do you want them to learn about you and your relationship?
Here is an interesting question, because our future is not guaranteed. We are working hard here to create the life we want to live and enjoy, yet we have no guarantee that we will be able to fulfill it. We only have today to make our experience the best it can be, filled with love, laughter, friendship, and compassion. We have an obligation to ourselves and our loved ones to find the peace, pleasure, and contentment that allows us to live our life fully.
Life is a puzzle and a dance, learning to balance the past and present while making plans for your future. Let’s enjoy today while planning for tomorrow without regrets of yesterday. Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow ~ live your life out loud and do it with your whole heart!

I’m happy to say that I can’t think of too many things I’d do differently. Perhaps I’d contat my son more, and in a different way. Other than stay in touch with friends even more than I do, I really can’t think of much I’d change. This feels really good.
Congratulations Pamela – you are in such a wonderful place in your life!! Enjoy it and thank you for sharing.
