Your Challenge Today:

Make a positive impact!

In every day, there are 1,440 minutes.

That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities

to make a positive impact.

Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long term results!  Small daily changes can make a positive impact on your life and the lives of those you care about.

That’s what this game is all about – small things we can do daily to make a positive impact on our health. Letting go of packaged food and choosing fresh cooked meals from whole foods, ditching the soda or juice and opting for water instead, taking the stairs instead of the elevator or walking the dog a little longer each day. Small improvements in our lifestyle choices to make a positive impact on our health and well-being.

  • Practicing an attitude of gratitude has been proven to reduce stress even in challenging times in our lives. When we make a habit of finding several things each day to genuinely express our gratitude for we are developing a habit of stimulating our happiness. Sometimes this exercise is harder than others ~ when we are going through a loss in our life, perhaps we are struggling with a loved one or we are transitioning from one phase of our life to another ~ and this is exactly when we will benefit the most from pushing ourselves to genuinely seeing a few things that we can be grateful for.

  • When we practice the art of self-care ~ any small thing we can do for our well-being to make a positive impact on our psyche. Make a phone call to a dear friend, write a letter to a relative, send a Hallmark card to someone you care about just for giggles, put some music on and dance around the house, make a pot of tea and read a good book. The act of taking time to support our well-being in some small way everyday is an affirmation of our desire to live a healthy life.

Every choice we make to care for ourselves does not have to be a big one … it is the art of stringing together many small daily changes that create our Living Fit Lifestyle.
