Your Daily Challenge:

Self-Image

Self-image sets the boundaries

of individual accomplishment.

~ Maxwell Maltz

Our goal here is to foster a positive self-image with ourselves and each other, which can sometimes be easier said than done. We are all unique individuals and have had many experiences through life, with our families, friends, neighbors, co-workers, school, etc. and some of our experiences have been positive while others, not so much. These experiences collectively with arbitrary pressures from society can wreak havoc on our self-image. Madison Avenue, judgments, opinions and insensitive comments from others can sometimes leave us with a less than stellar feeling about ourselves, our bodies, our abilities and therefore our self-image. This ‘less-than’ feeling and self-image can be a drain on our spirit.

While we are all here playing this game,

we are taking time to look at all the ways we feed our spirit.

  • Family
  • Home
  • Career
  • Finances
  • School
  • Community
  • Pleasure
  • Attitude
  • Body

With each of these components of our life, we have an opportunity to feed our spirit an additional dimension to our life! When we create an experience that feeds our soul as well as our body, we are stimulating a Positive Self-Image. When we pause to take pride in our relationships, community, accomplishments, home, financial health, and healthy attitude ~ we are enjoying a Living Fit Lifestyle which in turn adds to a healthy self-image. When we feel secure about our path and the typical components of our life ~ we can stand tall, walk proud and know that we have the confidence to be who we are!
