It is the sweet, simple things of life

Sometimes I find it hard to smile and be happy or satisfied with the sweet, simple things of life and those are precisely the times when I need to shift my focus the most. I cannot always do it easily, that’s when I call a friend, pick up an inspiration book or sit down and meditate. There are indeed those dark times in one’s life where it’s really, really hard to look at the sweet, simple things of life and smile ~ call on your tribal counsel, your spiritual board of directors, your BFF’s and remember the good things because you are sweet enough!

Just back from 4 days of travel to NOLA for a first time visit. Way too much sugar! Now its time to get back on track. Last night when we returned, we grocery shopped for healthy meals, unpacked, did laundry, exercised and watched DWTS. What increable sweetness to share all of this with my true partner. Sam wants to share everything, therefore, all my chores are half the effort and twice as much fun. That’s the sweetest thing of all!
How perfectly wonderful Pamela — for you and Sam — what a sweet journey, no need for sugar with him around 🙂
