Your Challenge Today:
Succession of Lessons that must be lived…
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
Life is a succession of lessons
which must be lived to be understood.
~ Helen Keller
If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it!
This is so true! We often have thoughts of doing something really fun or outrageous and we stop ourselves from having it or doing it for a variety of reasons… The absolute truth is ~ if you don’t try, you will never realize it. Life is full of everyday challenges, opportunities to stretch and grow into the life we imagine for ourselves. And, it’s ultimately up to us to make the moves, go for what we want, take a risk!
If you don’t ask – the answer will always be NO….
It’s all true ~ one never knows for sure about anything until you ask. Sometimes that’s all it takes, ask for what you want. Ask for the raise at work, ask for the trip to the Galapagos, ask for that special something, whatever it is; ask!
If you do not step forward, you’ll always be in the same place.
If we want to make a change in our lives, we have to move; one direction or another. We have to take a step, do something different, switch the direction, mix it up and change perspective and find the path to the success of our dreams. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other, step by step we move toward the life we want by making a declaration, commitment and movement.
What change do you want to make and haven’t moved forward with?
What succession of lessons have you lived that help you understand the path to your healthy life goals?
What lessons of healthy living can you share?

the lesson i was reminded of just yesterday-stick to my decisions and don’t give into peer pressure. i know my body’s limits better than anyone else. i need to be firm and say “no” when i feel some exercise/yoga position might not be good for me. yesterday i gave in and followed along in a yoga class-i walked out in pain and limping. at first i said no but, soon i gave in to well meaning prompting from the teachers.
Well, no coincidince that today’s challenge is about forward movement and change. Last night I bit the bullet and (re)entered the world of online dating :/
