Your Daily Challenge:
Honesty in relationship to wisdom, small changes and transformation.
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.
~ Thomas Jefferson
Our current challenge is to transform our lifestyle through small daily changes repeated over and over until they become habits! Habits are the key to your success, they are a regular tendency or practice, which can be constructive or destructive. The Living Fit Lifestyle program is all about creating positive, constructive habits that will support our healthy life. And, learning to be honest with ourselves is a key factor in our success.
Honesty without judgement is essential to a framework for positive change!
- Observe our current behavior and choices without judgement
- Evaluate the success of these choices – are they working for us?
- Work with our SMARTER GOALS to stay on track
- Review, renew and revise our plan of action regularly
When we continue to do the same old things, in the same old way, we will always get the same old result!
for years i have wanted a cleaner, more organized house. i am now doing just that, room by room. i love my new/old house!
Hey Debbie, I just read a really interesting article on de-cluttering and organizing….
It specifically suggested to think of Items instead of rooms…. which makes total sense. Gather all like items into one area and evaluate them individually within the group — ask yourself, does this item “bring me joy” and if it does not, get rid of it…. recycle, regift, donate or trash. Your house is pretty big, but, the concept totally makes sense 🙂
While I feel I have instituted new behaviors with exercise and food, I can be even more mindful of my sugar intake, including the amount of fruit I consume.
