Your Challenge Today:
Solve our problems …
By Bernadette Kathryn, LMT, IHLC
We cannot solve our problems
with the same thinking we used
when we created them.
~ Albert Einstein
Who doesn’t have problems, big or small? I don’t know about you, but I sure do, every day there is at least one challenge to conquer if not more. Some days are great and everything works like a charm and then there are those days where you feel like you are swimming upstream, going against the current. I think that’s to be expected from time to time just like playing on the teeter-totter, life is full of ups and downs.
Sometimes the challenges are a result of a mistake or a series of mistakes we made and sometimes challenges are purposefully self-induced like when we choose to learn a new language or hobby. And, sometimes we keep going in circles because we haven’t adapted our approach when we see our project is not moving the direction we have intended.
This is particularly important when it comes to making lifestyle changes. We have to remember that we didn’t enter this world with an owner’s manual, children don’t come with instructions and as we learn more every day from science ~ the instructions are changing rapidly. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to remain flexible ~ be willing to bend in the wind like a willow tree and be prepared to change directions as we learn more. Collecting data is an important tool when assessing our performance in any endeavor. We keep records at school with our studies, we keep records at work with our sales and productivity, when we keep records of our performance it provides the feedback we need to ensure we can adjust our strategy as needed.
We have provided the Insider’s Guide to the Living Fit Lifestyle to help you navigate the game and all the Game Forms to play so that you can easily track your progress and monitor your success. The best way to avoid going in circles doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is to monitor your actions and results ~ keep track of your progress and adjust as necessary!

I have to admit that even having taken the first step of appointing someone to help me organize in the office, I still feel a bit scared about knowing what to put where, how much time to spend on each organizing session, etc.But I have a start date; Feb 8! So I will be accountable to make it happen.
Good for you Pamela — you have taken the first step and you will prevail ! Questions? Did you hire someone to ‘help’ you or did you hire an organizational specialist? What are you intending to organize?
