The Objectives of this game are simple:

The Living Fit Game is intended to give you a motivational boost and support to reach your wellness goals! It does not serve as a weight-loss or fitness program. We aim to make it fun for you to lose weight by engaging in a game of social-wellness with your friends and family. And, since we don’t know you personally (and even if we did) we can’t advise you properly on how to lose weight. The objective of the game is to support you in your quest to improve your overall health and wellness by making sensible, sustainable lifestyle changes on a daily basis.

Quick weight loss methods aren’t sufficient to achieve lasting results. Weight loss methods that rely on diet aids like drinks, prepackaged foods, or diet pills don’t work in the long run. Although the Living Fit Game may be a catalyst for changing your habits, the most important changes are long term. No matter how much (or little) weight you have to lose, modest goals and a slow course will increase your chances of both losing the weight and keeping it off. Don’t do dumb things to lose weight!

This is a game of Social Wellness:

Note that we may recommend certain approaches and products from time to time on our site and in our emails but you should consult a professional before acting on our advice. Everything that we suggest is optional. Each individual must assess the best choices for themselves. Certain exercises are better for some and not appropriate for others ~ as are food choices. Make your personal decisions wisely and you will ultimately benefit from leading a clean, living fit lifestyle!

Mediterranean Chicken Burger

I love burgers and when I was at my dear friend Kathy’s home for dinner with the family, she was making a fun chicken burger recipe that she got from Rachel Ray. It was such a delicious burger full of flavor and mushrooms it got me to thinking…. What about a Mediterranean Burger?

Turkey Bacon Jam

OK, I know what you are thinking … how could bacon jam possibly be on the sanctioned list? Well, if it is turkey bacon, that's on the list. And if maple syrup is used instead of sugar to create this crazy recipe -- it's still on the list!

Sunday Brunch

Today, it's still a great pleasure for me to cook and share meals with my friends and loved ones. I just don't make quite so much food, it's more about the friends and guests. I strive to keep the dishes healthy, balanced and delicious ~ after all, what fun is it to eat healthy if it doesn't taste good?

Chicken Meatballs

When I am going to the effort to cook something so delicious as these little Chicken Meatballs ~ I take extra time and energy to cook a BIG BATCH! They are prefect for freezing and positively delightful in many different dishes.

Chicken Sausage

You know, me being me, I have to adapt most recipes because I probably don't have all the ingredients on hand exactly as things are written and I have somehow gotten it into my head that I must try this.

Classic Bone Broth

Classic Bone Broth is extremely versatile & healing! In our very fast paced world today we have gotten away from eating WHOLE FOODS and this is one of those recipes that our whole body will benefit from bringing back.

Vegetable and Sausage Frittata

A delight at breakfast time, these mini vegetable and sausage frittatas are the ultimate, healthy grab-n-go morning snack or perfect for brunch with the addition of a salad. With the goodness of zucchini, peppers and onions; all set off with the comforting flavor of Italian sausage in fluffy egg whites. These are the best way to get your day off and running.

Grilled Spiced Beer Chicken

Marinating a whole chicken overnight in beer makes it superbly moist and flavorful.

Easy Chicken Spring Roll Recipe

I love the fresh flavors of Asian cuisine -- tangy lime, salty tamari, toasted sesame all blended with fresh crunchy vegetables and roasted chicken. A super healthy alternative to take out with all of the fun, zest and tastiness you can possibly want.

Lemon Herb Chicken

Grilled chicken is greatly enhanced with a tasty marinade. With this recipe I put the chicken in the marinade overnight and grilled it the next day -- a fan favorite with all of my clients.

Zesty Gumbo

Very little shouts "LOUISIANA!" louder than a great shrimp gumbo. We love this classic and have updated it for the gluten free era. With tender shrimp, spiced chicken and chunks of andouille sausage, this gumbo is the full mardi-gras. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
